Vietnam Day1

Meet at Changi Airport at 7.00am, tagging my heavy luggage with Huiting. Saw a guy wearing the same T-shirt as us, and his name is Zhi Ming (preferably known as Lam Bei ). Funny guy, at that moment, I kept forgetting his name so he asked us to call him Lam Bei. Gradually, most of the group mates arrived at the airport. I bid farewell to my parents, they must be very worried. Becos their little angel will not by them side for the 18 days. Soon, we checked in our luggage and proceed to the departure gate. I took the last look at the departure gate, farewell Singapore!!!!! Here I come, Vietnam!!!

Depart Singapore for Hanoi. Time: 0915-1145, Flight no: VN 744

I thought I was sitting SIA, but to my dismay it was Vietnam Airline. Seating was so small and my hope was dashed. On the plane, I was assigned to sit next 2 people that I barely knew them except their names. Those 3 hours were totally unbearable, I was totally bored, and the airplane food was YUCKS!!!! No entertainment on the plane, too much time to kill. Due to the different air pressure on the plane, my cheeks were very rosy. Huiting and Effendi thought I was drinking on the plane. Nope, I was a good girl; I did not drink any alcoholic drinks on plane. At that moment, I somehow miss home. I dun know why? Maybe too bored …..

Finally, reached Hanoi!!! Yeah!!! The bird eye view from the plane window was flat land filled with rice padi! Very country style, another words very kampong!!! Haha!! Downtown Hanoi is about 45 minutes away from Noi Ba International Airport. Tired looking buildings line the roads before long stretches of padi fields break the monotony of the human settlements. Constantly distracted by the endless stream of motorcycles whizzing by and howling away, the dusty trails soon lead us to the mighty Red River where upon crossing the Thang Long Bridge, the city proper materializes dramatically.
Transfer by coach to Le Tonkin Vietnamese Restaurant to have lunch, the lunch was superb!!! I liked the Vietnamese style salad, very crunchy and delicious. The restaurant ambience was very Bali like, very calming and oriental. After the heavy lunch, Mery told us that we were heading off to Hoa Sua School. She told us that meals we are going to have are not like what we had for lunch today. Hehe>>> (We shall see huh!!!) quoted from Mery.

Transfer by coach to Hoa Sua School. The school compound consists of 4 main buildings, each of them are used for sewing, office, cooking and dorms respectively. Originally, I supposed to stay in the dorm mainly for the students. Due to space constraint, I had no other choice to share the room specially used for teaching hotel management (housekeeping) with Huiting, Wei Shen, Penny and Hooi Huang. Hah!! Although, unlike the rest of the girls. Five of us did not have our own individual bed; we had to take turns to sleep on the floor. Lucky we had a hotel style bathroom, which I liked it very much!! The place I got to stay for 15 days…………we shall see huh!!!

Dinner at Hoa Sua School, we brought to the Table Service class. We were invited to act as customers, while the students offered their table services to us. Due to their lack of confidence in speaking English, we hardly able to hear the dishes that they were offering us!!! Till the end, we kicked out a big joke.

The sims 2

Haha, yesterday at wenjie's house played the sims 2 for the whole day. i really got the kick, the game a bit complicated at first. I trying to get a partner for my sims, but it was either a woman or a young or a black guy. Sad meh, so i settled with the bad guy. Looking forward to wenjie house, so i can continued the flirting sage!!!!!!

A fully packed Saturday

Haiz, holiday is not as free as i thought.... Meet up james, gee ming and merwin at BS early in the morning. Had lunch at SIM and then my fav part singing those 90's chinese pop songs while merwin and another guy played on their keyboard. That shy james sang with me, i could hardly heard his purring voice. Hehee. Later in the afternoon, catch up with huiping( my fav Frenz) took some photos ( wait for my upload), roam around bugis and we went to eat the spicy steamboat. Not very nice but very full and expensive %(
Nice to be with her, cos be with her feel very comfortable!!! Be frenz with her for nearly 6 and half years. Very long time friend. Everytime looking forward to go out woith her, the feeling is amazing!!! Thanks Huiping for everything! Be with her, i am really myself.

Exam over but i am still very busy

Exam over!! Strange, i miss the school!! Maybe i an used to the hectic school life, now very free abit bored at home. I had been hanging out at the central district for couple of days, my legs are tired. Went shopping at novena, suntee, marina square, raffles place, parco bugis junction on tue with huiting and matthew. 3 of us really had a great time, we ate thai food for lunch at novena. Not bad!! 7 bucks per person. Then we went to watch The NEW POLICE STORY at marina square. After that we went back to bugis and eat those cheap hawker food. Then huiting suddenly got an urge to try the sturdel. We sat down and ate apple and mango strudel!!!Brilliant!!! I liked it very much, even though i was very full. I prefer mango one!!! After that, we went to esplande( i think i spell wrongly wadever is the modern durian) and merlion park. On the way there, matthew and huiting tried to shake me off, sounded as they r going out and i was the bright lightbulb. hehee< I think they hope that i was transparent, hahah!!!! Went off and never tell me!!! We went to merlion park, sat by the side listening to the sea breeze. I really enjoyed their accompany, very fun!!! It has been a long time since i have such accompany!

Sick of my blogger skin

haiz, getting sick of my blog skin. Hopefully, I have time to change a new one!! Exams coming near!! But I has to deal with a couple of tests before study break!! Dun understand, why there is a need to have tests at the last few weeks!! Get back my reaction engineering test paper, I had!! pretty okay! Lost some marks due to the " stupid incident". Next time I should trust my instincts, instead of consulting others. Yesterday, the sch belle that kinda show was filmed at my sch!! Huge crowds at the atrium, Belinda was hot, sassy and beautiful. She was tanned, and got a great body!! Reng Tutorial was boring as usual, Matt & I were reading the FHM. Dr Geng, asked me to do the tutorial solution. I stared at her, and I was thinking I had cleared all my tutorial why there is a need to do again? I better had my eyes fixed at those bikinis babe instead of those boring stuff. I smiled at her, and continued reading!! Hahhah!! Meanwhile at the back of the classroom, Kenneth and adrant were playing arm wresting. Dr geng went over and cheered them on!!! Hahhah, wad a class !! Hate to study>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.. ,....... Boring!!!!!!!!!

Tea Chapter

Hello everyone, i never regret my decision for joining the BS. Yesterday, the mooncake event was fun. Appreciate tea was quite interesting, haha!!! Make quite alot friends, fun thats is the word!! Hardly wait for the exam to be over, cos i got alot plans. Hehhe, first 2 weeks before i go vietnam, accompany eileen to roam the national park around singapore, hopefully can go Pula Ubin cycling and go back to sch and pack some stuff. After the vietnam trip, left 1 week to go BS chalet and eunice's chalet. Hahha i am so busy!! Yesterday, i took alot of photos with james , gee ming and hanleong! That james keep me company, if without him i will be bored!! I hope hwee ying will send me the photos!!! And thanks Hwee ying's Dad for his ride home!! BS mate, i will be attending the thur session. Yeah!!

Unlucky things

Haiz, my calculator fell into the toilet bowl. Now it is spoilt, I need to spend money again!! I am penniless haiz!!!
Yesterday, took 2 jabs at TTSH. My left arm was numb and i was extremely tired. Do finish the Tv Doll house, Finally!!!! Whole body went wrong, i hate that feeling!!!

Friday happening!!

Yes!! I finally speak to my YEP leader over the phone but havent seen him in face. Wondering how does he look like? This leader is pity fellow, he came out with a lousy grouping. He put me under him, seperated from my classmates and my coursemates. Then put me in charge of the culture night, wad u think that i know alot about singapore's culture is it? Talk to him over phone, he sounded like a nice guy!! He better kept his promise or else i skinned him alive. Oh yeah, my coming sat is reserve for the chalet at east coast. Yesterday saw Mr Chong on my way home, he mentioned that Oct 2 having a chalet. Must turn up, he warned!! Huiting and I were in disbelief, wad so near exams!! he asked us to bring notes to study there!!! I was arguing why is it held at that day instead of after exam. His answer is he need to mark paper, haiz... Dun worry, Mr Chong and my dear leader, i will turn up lah!! Yesterday's lab was so free and easy, that led me to wish that for my rest of my experiments, the readings are taken by computers. Dream On!! Every week's lab, the routine is the same. As usual, put my bag in the lab, then headed to the toilet. Then put on lab coat, wait for my group members. Listened to Mr Ong' s beliefing then stared in blank, when he start asking questions. Take down readings, waited for the temperature to rise. Visnes will starting lamenting about CE, saying next time wad r we going to do? and so on.... Every week he stick to the same topic!! Thursday expected to be fun but something spoil my day!!

Seems to me, Thursday is a great day looking forward to. But it turned out not as I expected. Haiz!! Two surprise occurred after a disaster happened. First surprise, is I find out that mostly of my YEP groupmates mostly are my em3 friends haha!! That's is a good thing!! Secondly, is that funny Mr Chong shouted my name across the Lt asking me whether am I attending the "insight Vietnam" this coming sat while I am talking attentively to san wee. I am looking forward to that YEP trip and attending a chalet organize by Mr Chong. Yes! Fun things drawing near.My mentor, Mr Charles Ong. This guy, I labeled him as the silent seeker. He always creep behind us, and wait for us to notice him. Lamer, nothing to do is it? This afternoon, he actually came to us and intend to join us for lunch. But to his dismay, we already finished our lunch. Then we suggested he should join 03 for lunch, since they just started eating lunch. He took our suggestion and join them. I was thinking, since he is our mentor maybe wad he just did this afternoon was trying to know us more. Our class 02 is unique class, we seems to live in our own world. Though, we r not unite, but we have a common point. All of us are concerned about works and hardly bothered with the lecturers. Heehehe!! This is wad I like about my class, though we worked hard and we played hard too. Now the current trend in class, is the pairing game. I apparently be cast as one of the main character, which I was forced to. By through that pairing game, make our class more unite and more laughter are being heard!!! The darnest things I did today, was my comment made to Mr Mikko was " Grow Plump HUH?". Mr Mikko showed a shoved face, which I didn't even care abt that. Second is, I scolded a BIG bad guy!! I do not know whether wad I did today is correct or not? But he is getting on my nerve, assigned work did not do, everytime gave all kind of crappy excuses. What I did today is simply not a typical singaporean will do but simply laid low profile. The scolding I did, some might thought I am bad or I was in wrong. I rather be someone who shoot right in ur face then someone who simply labeled his name as free- rider in the report in silent. Though my scolding might be harsh, I hope he is able to know his mistake and wake up from his dabbing world. And continue join us in our meeting and I will still put his name in the report and presentation. No matter wad!! Wad I did today, I think I am the bad girl in some ppl's mind. Whatever, their thoughts are I will not give a damn and they are not in a position that are able to give me any opinion. I am who I am, that's is the real me!! I had did nothing wrong, I will stand by my views and ideas. No matter what, I will be the typical little girl in my cozy family.

Alone at the library

Haiz, 8am and i am at the library alone!! Actually, i suppose to be having my AEM lesson now. But who give a damn anyway. Listening to that old sissy, will spoil my wed morning!!! PQS is a serial killer, almost every week i had to face PQS!! But i like TV, more relaxed more fun not stress!!! Yesterday, i had a great time talking to YY.This girl is pretty cute, very efficient and very smart!!! If any chances given to me, to be in the same class as her. I think i will be one of her friend lor!! Very dilligent lady as compared to me, a lazy slug!! You go girl, YY!!!!

Common Test's Result

Allo allo, finally my common tests are finally over!!!!! Results are back.... Mine average tests marks are all 80 over!!! Still pretty ok! I am disappointed with my ETEC result which is just 90. Actually, i am able to get full mark but using the wrong method 10 mark gone with the wind!!! I am pissed off with ETEC!! I am surprised with my TPFF's result!! While Mr Tan called my name in LT, my jaws dropped!! Then during tutorial, i was frantically searching for any 1/2 mark to claim in order no to lose to Micheal!! But my effort in vain!!! Hhaha!! Although, common test over, i am still a busy person!!! No time to spare, need time to attend briefings for my vietnam trip and alots assignments for my Labs and IS.

Just finish my ETEC paper, pretty ok with it! Mr Chua mentioned the paper is chicken, but I still quite not very confident about the paper. Anyway, tommorrow is RENG paper, everyone seems to freak out of that!!! I spent 3 days study over it, hopefully, i know how to do the paper!!!

The first time I really feel that My Dad & Mum have aged over the years

Haiz, my dad is now in hospital!!! Over the past few days , my daily routine is to visit my dad in hospital!!! I hope my dad will recovered fast, and healthy!!!! Hardly, have time and mood to study for my common tests!!!!!! I am going to flunk all of them!!!! Here, I want to thank all who show concerns and make visits to hospital!!! Thanks, you all have heart!!! As for dad, do not worry too much!!! We will be here with U!!! Tomorrow will be better!!!!

At last someone said I looked older far from my sec4 photo!!!

Hah!!! Finally, someone shoot right in my face saying that I looked a bit older far from my kiddy photo!!! That darning person is Mr Chong!!!!! I was really shocked man!!! But I derserved it loh, I was making a joke out of Huiting's long hair photo!!! Her that long hair look really looked like a Vietnamese lady!! By the way for the extra information, Huiting & I are going to Vietnam during this upcoming November holiday!! So I was telling Mr Chong, Huiting is going back to her hometown and arranged us to meet her family there!!! I was having a great time then that Chong lah, saw my photo then said" Shuling , U hmmm grew hmmm more mature not that kiddy!!!" Then a gust of laughters from my friends follow back. Oh boy!! I felt really old at that time!!! But not bad lah, that photo i took was when I was only 16. Now I am 18, therefore looks changed as u aged!!! I looked more mature heheheh!!!!!! That funny Mr Chong!!!!!!!
