Delected the previous post. It does not sounded nice to start a Brand new year. Hence this dog year is a brand new Year, a brand new beginning for my life. I am turning 20 in a few months time, a year and half before i turn 21. My wishes for this brand new year:
  1. Family: Stay Healthy and happy always
  2. Career & studies: Smooth Sailing, able to further my education
  3. $$: Earn back what I had spent
  4. Human relationship: searching , no hurry........
  5. Friends: Strong lasting friendship
  6. Health: Obtain ideal weight, take up a new sport

That's all.

The past few days were horrible, my energy level in my body is running low. Sleepless nights spent thinking where are we going to stay for the next few days. Luckily everything is settled, we are able to live in comfort for the rest of our days in newcastle. This is what I called refugee's life. Totally there wasn't any Chinese New year mood in us, everytime we were thinking where are we going to stay if there are new tenants moving in. Pray hard everything will be fine!!!!

Counting down............ in 3 weeks' time i will be back home.

Looking back, the past 4 months were incredible. I never regret for making the choice of coming to UK for attachment. The time here was well spent, i did enjoy every moments i spent over here. Though i did not manage to mix around or make any local friends, even though my supervisor is local.... I undestand their cultures and their working attitudes.

Well, I will like say " Thank YOU" to the followings for making my trip possible.

My family

  1. My lovely 4 aunties: Really thankful for all ur helps and loves. Ling Ling really grateful!!
  2. My dearest Grandma: Popo, I will work hard!! I will!!
  3. My brother: Thanks for everything!
  4. My DAd and mum: thanks for being so supportive!! All the encouragements given to me. At the bottom of my heart: I think u two all the greatest parents in the whole wide world.
  5. My cousins especially wenjie: For tagging at my blog..in other word keep me occupied. Wenjie sorry, for troubling U to call my brother whenever i am online. Thank For ur help!!

Well looking at my watch, somehow I was thinking of getting a new one.

My watch has been with me for 4 years, i got it at bugis for a price of twenty something.
Mum promised to get bro and me a watch each, both of us were overjoyed !! Therefore we went to BUgis to hunt for our watches. We browsed through several hundreds of watches around bugis area, none of the design caught my eyes.

I know that I am very picky and judge things with a very high expectation, in other words difficult to serve in chinese.

Until I saw my watch at one of the shops, it was a digital watch. Yeah, that's cool suitable for me cos i have a hard time reading the time using the manual clockface. The design was sleek and slim, but the downside is the strap is black with a dragon on the right side. Very Bengish that kind. Staring at it through the shop window, the more I stared at it. I was captivated by its unique design and the thiness of the clockface. Hence I got him.... The Uncle told us that it used costed hundred plus when it just came out in the market. We were thought he was bragging........

UNtil today..... I finally know the name of my watch.

I was searching the net, hoping to find a new watch with the similar concept as the watch i am wearing now. To my horrify, my old watch is still on sale. My watch is a Casio PELA watch, under the collection of Mayfly London. It is selling for 5500 yen on casio.jp or 20 US on ebay. Wow!!

For now.... I think I am not going to change my watch!!!! Hahah!!

I never watch"Elizabethtown", ended up watching " Chronicle of Narnia". Pretty nice movie, It is a fantasy tale. Love their wardrobes, and the animations employed etc. However i am not a fantasy freak.... therefore dun really like it.

Some of the movies which i really want to watch:

  1. Born into Brothels
  2. Cinderella man
  3. Dreamer

Anyone has any DVDs or VCDs to lend me? I miss watching movies...

Yesterday, with a relaxed mind went to walk around newcastle. Enjoying the peaceful environment, walking against the strong gushs of wind, meanwhile watching man running in his running short in the cold. HAha... The distance i covered yesterday was crazy.. 4 miles total!!

Some point of the journey, i just closed my eyes and walked blindly. As I was walking, some thoughts ran through my mind. I am pretty bothered with those stupid thoughts. Anyway looking at the bright side, sometime just let thing go on by its own. That will be much more easier for me, no need to worry so much. No point thinking so much.... is pointless. Now I am letting nature go by its own.

Right now, I shall focus and do finish my stuffs. Going back to Singapore is a brand new journey for my life. Entering into the age of 20, been to so many countries for the past few months. Seeing and experienced so much things, My life is considered very fullfilling as compared to my peers. I will continued to work hard, hopefully I can fullfill my longtime dream. I really hope to fullfill it!!

I know my family will also be behind me, I love them the most. Without them, I will not have survived. Wish to spend more time with them, hopefully can go on tour together. I miss travelling with family including cousins as well. Hehe!! Looking back, the numerous trips we went. Perth, LA, Thailand, HK, Batam and Several parts of Malaysia..... I truly enjoyed the laughters and fun we had throughout those trips!!

I love Kirsten Dust's style.... very nice!! Very natural..

Tommorrow going to work. New assigned task to do!!
...
.
.
Yesh looking forward to tommorrow.

Now listening to Elizaberthtown soundtrack..... I loved it!! Very country rock..soft yet touching!!

SOmetimes i wish I know how to drive , go on a road trip across Malaysia, Thailand and so on.....
Driving while enjoying the scenery, music and the company. That is my ideal lifestyle.... careless and free.

Beautiful things You do not have to own them, just admiring them will make ur whole life feel fullfill......

COunt Down Attachment left a month to go.....
Everything is moving at a fast mode.... can i press pause for a while?
I hate the 20.........21....22...23....24.....25....26....27....29...30
so fast i am going to be 20.

I felt very old suddenly... i dunno why? Perhaps...i never live my life to the fullest, wasting my teens years. Therefore i am feeling bad over it!!

Recently reading Vinna's blog ( my sec cum pri sch friend), found out she and her secondary class 4/2 occusionally still having outings something like that. The bonds between them are much more strong as compared to me and 4/1 classmates. I felt that is just a waste, that we 4/1 did not contact each other after we graduated from AES. Everyone just proceeds on with their own phase of life, although annually there was chalet. The atmosphere was lousy, everyone seems to be like strangers. How come a class can turn out to be like that? Perhaps I do not feel bond to this particular class, except for some good friends which i secured during my 2 years in that class. Haiz such a waste, hopefully in the future we still get chances to catch up with each other and remain bonded as the usual class that we used to have in sec days.

Counting down attachment coming to an end, which mean poly life going to end soon. Then we are at the Another cross road junction, where everyone moving on their phrase of life. Guys entering to NS, while girls either working or furthering their education. Hopefully, I still manage to stay in contact with my polymates. I really did enjoy my time spent in NP especially surrounded with very Happening polyfriends... shared the joy and pain of study life together. I truly cherish the presences of U guys. Therefore any polymates reading this entry, feel free to contact me for any gathering or luncheons/ dinners , I most likely will be happy to attand. I donot wish history to repeat again.

Hence upon my return, maybe after our presentations, lets rock!!! Bring the house down man!!Catching up with everyone, Because i have not seen everyone for 5 long months. Make an appointment with me pls...heheh

That is just my Pharm class friends..... Anyway yearning to see u guys and the rest. :)

Today is Friday, weekends are around the corner. To me is still the same.... make no different.
Currently doing somethings very interesting, that was to pay visits to the numerous supermarkets around my place.

Running/ Jogging/walking to the surrounding supermarkets was some of my life routine. I am crazy , I know that.

Yesterday, I jogged to tesco which is 2 miles away from my place. Alone jogging across the city center, across the tyne bridge and ran up a slightly steep slope. In the beginning, my breathing was abit difficult. The cold air kept trapping in my throat, causing alot of fluid stuck in my nose. As i was passing HAymarket bus station, i fell down. Arggh.. now my knee was slightly hurt. But i still continued on my jogging to tesco.

Tesco was packed with people, as usual i went directly to the reduced price section. Frantically looking for any reduced fruits, such a disappointment.... No reduced fruit!! End up i got a green cabbage, half butternut squash and basic tomatos. Went to the dry food section, brought some stuffs to bring back to Spore : Rhurbub tea & white chocolates. Meanwhile brought an italian rice meal, a packet of kettle chips and a loaf of walnut bread.

I am crazy, so interested in eating bread.........soon or later i will be having a bread face!! Arghhh!!

Thursday, January 12, 2006

The past few days, i had not been sleeping very well. Haiz.... Life suck to bottom. The guys having alot work to do, returning home later than usual. Where as for me, i don't even need to go to work for this entire week. Sometimes too much free time is not a good thing for me, because there is nothing to do...... plenty of time for me to stuff myself with all kind of junk food.

As i am going to Swiss soon, so i was looking at their supermarket's website. HoH and bewild, they have a wide selection of chocolates.... price abit expensive than UK ones. But someone told me their chocolates are better than UK ones ( smoother and dun wad). To me, chocolates are the same....blackish brown sweet thingy.... I prefer ice-cream. Not a chocolate addict!! Bad news are their bread are ex, milk same price as spore. I wonder what am i going to survive for the 5 days in different parts of Swiss......

As for buying the chocolates home, i will but nope in big quantity....cos i will be going to czech republic after swiss....still got a long journey before departing for 2nd home (Newcastle). I dun wan to tag a heavy bag...walking past hundards streets at the pace of 2 miles/hr and catching flights all that....

See how... lor...
BAck to my flash watching again......

SUperstar i dun wan loh.... without any grooming or incentives.
Have u even thought of appearing on the cover page without putting on any make-up or styling ur hair? Then imagine pictures and videos of you flashing in Ngee Ann Poly and Ngee Ann City. Right in the Street of Orchard Road..... How is that feeling? Luckily not Upclose shoot... later see mine's panda eyes......%^&*@#*......
Errm then hor, some of friends in Ngee Ann will confirm see it one lol...I think some already start laughing lor..... OMG... Sure been laughed at when i see them back in spore. Dun Laughed hor.... Later i angry Muahahah!!

I saw the scanned version of the brochure. It is in Microsoft word format, therefore unable to post it in blog. 3 lines appeared on my forehead..... Wad lau....

The Brochure still mentioned....... some headings like this " The leading roaming plan".
Wad roaming plan... NP think that pathetic 6k able to roam the world meh? IS only sufficient to roam a small city only lor....Newcastle. Wrong appeal....lor. Somemore leading.... OMg!!! Got lagging one meh?

If u have nothing to do....and wish to know more abt NP and also check out my face.
Check out: NP open house at 3 0r 4 feb 2006

Hahah...I changed my song AGAIN!!

This song is very special, i actually know how to sing this song but i dunno the song title till now.

Enjoy ....

Update everyone abt myself,
Work sucks, in my opinion. Nothing to do, i have been rotting at home or spending my time at the malls roaming like a wanderer..... SO sick of this life.

Oh ya...luckily we were planning for our great finale....
The last trip, maybe this is the last time i ever stepped back in europe. Hopefully not, cos i did not manage to go greece....Athens and the very nice Greek islands. SAd!!!!!!!! MAybe there is still some chances in the future.

The great finale Pray Very Hard....... Lets everywhere we going to will not be snowing or wadever. NO flight cancellation!!!!! Looking forward to see clear blue sky......

Oh ya, my school is having a dinner and dance for the graduating students. Many of my friends asked me to go, the D&D is 60Sing. Yah i know is that price, but i need $$ to style myself and the dress all that..and booking a hotel and clubbing..I think certainly will spend up to $200. However like most ppl said "once in a lifetime". I added on....IS once in a lifetime to hang out with my polymates in this grand dinner...... by burning a big hole in my pocket.

By the way, Dinner and dance is like wedding dinner like that. 10 courses meal...sitting there and waiting for the dishes to come like that? Or is it there is a dance floor where everyone will be dancing ( ballroom dancing ) like the teen's prom nite?

But hoh, who will sponser me? haha
Right now, I only know i have a green skirt in mind. Rest i need to buy, haiz complex feelings lol.
SHld i go or not? Any advise?
I really dunno lor....

3 Jan 2006.....
Went to work as usual, however my dear Prof Paul was not at his office. Dup! Sat at in front of the Company com for 2 hours, sending him an email...... Meanwhile browsing through the web. Finally fed up with the waiting, self assumed that he was still on holiday. Went off to City Center, Since Newcastle having its jan sale. Seize the goody chance to shop around, since everywhere is having 50 to 70% sale. OMG!!

Went to Dorothy Perkins, tried on their bottom. Not bad.... reasonable price ( 24sing dollars) for an english cropped bottom. But the cut abit too big for me especially my butt there....My body is abit weird...with a bulging stomach but the butt very flat ( perhaps i sat too much). Haiz....
So went to shop somewhere else....

WEnt to TOpshop/men, Accessorize.....they had alot nice accessories (cool earrings) but the prices are too ex. Therefore never got any stuffs.

Next was Miss Selfridge....My Fav Hunt!!

Food I had in Roma.....only at day 3....

Pls dunno be mistaken that i am Missy richie taitai.....
I had been eating my own self prepared sandwiches for the past few days of my trip. We saved 12 euros as we were unable to enter the vatican city museum. Therefore we splurged on the STone baked Pizza. Haha. Each of us paid 5.50 euros ( $11) for 3 stonebaked pizza inclusive of taxes. Reasonable price lah.... Very special pizza unlike american pizzas which we usually had back in spore. Thin Biscuit crust with thick spread of tomato sauce.... with the toppings.
I had a veggie pizza, consisted of courgettes, olives ( my fav), artichokes (nice) and rockets . Olsen had fungi and ham, while delwyn had fungi, ham, egg and olives.

Italy ham is very nice and has a very heavy seasoned fragrance....thinly sliced from the pork legs like those chinese type which is easily available during CNY. That kind u know!!

To gelatos.....OMG...My Fav!!!
My first gelato was from Roma....2 scoops for 2 euros ($4). I had Ferror rocher and berry sobert! Best Man !! Heavenly!! ...pS: I am not done with the gelatos yet....hahah!!!

Day 3 Dec 19 in roma

HAd a very good night sleep, wake up at 7am and settled off to sightseeing.
We went to the vatican city. The main highlight of rome trip!! Vatican city is the smallest independent state on earth. They have their own bank (vatican bank), own radio station, head of state (Pope) and their own stamps etc. Very cool huh? The whole Vatican city area is only 193 rd. At this point, you may wondering such a small place what it survive on? Human resource like Spore....Hahah The economy of vatican city is supported financially by contribution from the roman catholics throughout the world inclusive the admission of the St Peters and the Vatican Museum.

KK enough of the facts.
BAck to my story...
Headed to Castel Sant's Angelo..but it was closed. Its said to be has a secret passage way to the VAtican city which is mentioned in Dan Brown "The Da Vinci Code". Hence we made our way to Vatican City...

The main entrance of the Vatican city is through the St Peter Basilica. Haha...one of ur foot can be in italy while another half of you can be in Vatican city... Be in 2 places at the same time!! Cool! I believed everyone should be very familar with St Peter BAsilica....is the second largest church in Christianity. One of the main architect was Michelangelo, whom designed the cupola, sculpted the Pieta and eventually painted the walling of the cupola. An Amazing guy.

The interior of the St Peter's Basilica was superb....if u think city harvest church is nice...u must be wrong!! DAmn wrong!! The gold interior and the super finest paintings and sculptures.... wow. U must seen them with ur very own eyes.....like a palace!!

Went to the Popes' tomb..... and saw the John Paul II 's tomb. There were still people mourning at his tomb.
